Earlier this month we met with Robin Lesley (2022-23 Hayling Golf Club Men’s Captain), for a cheque presentation following his outstanding fundraising efforts throughout this past year. Enable Ability has been extremely fortunate to have been supported substantially by the club for a number of years, and this year was no exception!
From October 2022 until October 2023, Robin and the members of Hayling Golf Club raised money for Enable Ability through various events including an auction, Captain’s Day (which was a fabulous day for us to attend ourselves), collections and much more!
The cost of living continues to impact so many, so to receive such an incredibly large donation of £9191 is testament to their generosity and loyal support for us as a local charity. These financial resources have helped to support our 15 specialist services for children, young people and adults with disabilities who use our services on a weekly basis, especially for those projects that continue to rely on external funding.
We were able to show our appreciation to Robin on the day, with a signed frame from the charity. A huge thank you to Robin and to all the Hayling Golf Club members for their incredible support this past year!
