Children’s Service provision at Enable Ability comprises over 75% of our spending, primarily due to the significantly higher requirement for staff support at our high-needs services: the specialist Playscheme and Landport Playscheme for mild to moderate needs during school holidays and Saturday Club during term time.Our second largest service is Child Befriending, which offers a respite scheme for families that have a child with moderate to severe disability. Service is provided generally on a 1 to 1 basis to access wide-ranging community based activities.Our Junior Club provides a huge array of activities for 5 to 12 year old children with mild to moderate disabilities with Hampshire Gateway cards. Some of our service users gained their John Muir Award for environmental pursuits in 2018 which is a great achievement!
