Job Role: Deputy Team Leader (Maternity Cover)
Based at: Widley venue, outskirts of Portsmouth
Wage: Competitive rates of pay
Expected hours: 30+ per week, Monday to Friday, between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. School Holiday Periods only
DETAILS: Enable Ability requires an individual who will ideally be qualified to NVQ level 3 (or working towards this) to assist the Playleader in co-ordinating the responsibilities and activities of a designated group of Playworkers. Experience of working with children with high levels of disability in a Playscheme environment is essential. The post will mainly comprise taking a leading role in working directly with a group of children to further their social and educational development and deputising for the Team Leader in his / her absence.
Additional Information: The post includes the preparation, organisation and delivery of activities – all of which will involve providing safe, creative and appropriate play within a balanced programme. Successful applicants will be required to apply for an enhanced level DBS check. Applicants will need to be available for work to take place at this venue initially during the Autumn half-term holiday period (28th October to 1st November).
