Portsmouth Junior Club is a service that was previously run by the Portsmouth Autism Support Network and now is primarily designed for young people with additional needs from 5 to 12 years of age and brings together three different services into one complete programme which were ‘Youth Hub’, ‘Gym Club’ and ‘Multi Sports Club’. 

We provide two services as follows:

  • Every Saturday we run a Gym Club (12pm-1pm) at John Pounds Centre with Viva Gymnastics.
  • Every Tuesday we run a Social Night (4pm-6pm) at the St. Michaels & All Angels Church in Paulsgrove, this is run in conjunction with the SEND Butterflies.

Aged 5 to 18 years old living in Portsmouth and SE Hampshire (postcodes PO1 - PO17)

Level of support

Anyone with additional needs.

Access

By referral or enquiry, a home visit will be required beforehand to assess suitability and to build a care plan.

Location

Various locations dependent on activity.

When

Tuesdays 4pm-6pm, Saturday 12pm-1pm

Cost

The costs of the support staff are borne by the charity from various funding sources.

Additonal fees

Expenses related to the various activities to be borne by the parents or carers. See table of costs below.
