Enable Ability prides itself on its place in the community delivering services for disabled people in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. It is located and managed right in the heart of the city and works with Portsmouth City Council and other partners to provide a range of services that significantly improve the lives of disabled children and young adults coping with both high and mild-to-moderate needs arising from their physical disabilities or learning difficulties.

In discharging its responsibilities in the community Enable Ability works with many local businesses to support promotion and awareness campaigns as well as various fundraising events that continue to support the charity.

We are very pleased to work with local teams of major retailers such as ASDA, Co-Op, Starbucks, Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose on a regular basis whilst more local firms such as Semmens of Southsea continue to support us as their local charity. Additionally we are now striking a positive relationship with the The Lady Hamilton Public House and their wonderful Landlady Jeanette Warren who has been so supportive during lockdown in 2020/21.

We continue to seek one or two major businesses in the local area to develop more lasting partnerships that can augment their own social and community support initiatives.
