Folks in Harmony lift us up with song and support!

Every year, Bedhampton-based Mixed A Cappella choir, ‘Folks in Harmony’, pick a local charity to support at their various events. This past year, Enable Ability was fortunate to be chosen as their Charity of the Year (having been suggested by a choir member whose Husband is an Enable Ability Trustee).

With funds raised from ticket sales and raffles at the choir’s two main concerts, along with various sing-outs the choir performed (at venues including care homes, supermarkets and churches), we are overjoyed to announce that after a year of incredible support, Folks in Harmony have raised an amazing £3,000 for Enable Ability!

Their 12 months of commitment and enthusiasm have not only helped us raise these essential funds but have also raised awareness about the vital work we do for people with disabilities in our community. This contribution will make a significant difference in continuing our services for children, young people, and adults with disabilities.

Staff were invited to attended an open evening with the choir recently, and were absolutely blown away by their incredible singing! It was there that the choir presented Enable Ability with the cheque.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Folks in Harmony for their generosity and dedication. Their support has been invaluable, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
