Earlier this month, the newly-formed disability group attended our Bingo Night fundraising night where £689 was raised!!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came, especially our disability group and our wonderful Starbucks venue who continuously supports our charity for our Bingo Nights.
As usual, our disability group visits various venues across Portsmouth to have fun in a safe environment, we also discuss how suitable each venue is for the group’s accessibility needs. Despite seating being limited due to the popularity of the event, everyone still found a seat and the caller could be heard clearly.
The venue is on one level with disability parking spaces positioned outside the main entrance. Seats are varied in height, size and comfort; therefore the venue can accommodate the comfort and purpose of any individual’s visit. Toilets are accessible and staff are friendly to assist where possible.
Well done to everyone involved in making the event a great success, prizes were won by most in our group and we loved it! Our next Bingo Night takes place on Thursday 8th May, tickets are now available on Eventbrite
