We’re delighted to share that Enable Ability has been awarded £1,000 through the Tesco and The Sun newspaper’s Cooking for All grant! We’re proud to be one of just 150 charities and community groups across the country selected for this fantastic award.
This funding will be used over the summer holidays to enrich our specialist and inclusive playschemes. We’ll be running pizza oven sessions and introducing new, healthy foods to children who experience sensory challenges around eating.
Creating positive experiences with food in a safe and supportive environment helps build confidence, encourages healthy choices, and makes mealtimes more enjoyable for everyone.
We were thrilled to be presented with a cheque in person by staff from a number of local Tesco stores, and we can’t thank them enough for taking the time to visit and hear about the impact of their support first-hand.
