Spectacular fireworks display lights up a rainy evening at the Utilita Bowl

Despite the rain, this year’s annual fireworks trip to the Utilita Bowl was a great success. Young people enjoyed an exciting evening filled with bright displays, funfair attractions and a huge range of food stalls. The 20-minute fireworks show lit up the sky in spectacular fashion and everyone made the most of the evening. The group embraced the weather, showing great enthusiasm throughout and helping to make the night a memorable experience for all involved.

The charity was also delighted to welcome trusted team member Hannah in her new position as Deputy Project Leader for the Hampshire Junior Club. This event marked her first time leading an activity in her new role, and as a member of the senior leadership team, she now has the opportunity to lead across other projects, including those with the Portsmouth Teenage Project, a project she’s been involved with since January 2025.

Hannah led the evening with great confidence and professionalism, ensuring everyone felt safe and supported throughout what was a very busy event. Our volunteer Patrick, who assisted on the trip, praised how well she managed the group and the activity.

Congratulations to Hannah for leading such a successful and enjoyable evening.
