We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Sally and her team at the Tangier Road Southern Co-op Funeralcare branch for their generous donation of £100 to Enable Ability.
The donation followed their fantastic involvement in the annual Love Baffins event at the end of November- a much-loved community celebration that sees local businesses across Baffins come together to host stalls, sell festive goods, and run games and activities for families to enjoy.
Sally and her team fully embraced the festive spirit, running a fun “Find Rudolph’s Nose” game, hosting a tombola, organising a Grinch-themed activity, and even serving teas and coffees to keep visitors warm. Their stall brought plenty of smiles and festive cheer to the day, while also helping raise funds for local causes.
As part of their commitment to supporting the community, the team chose to donate £100 from what they raised, to Enable Ability. Our Partnerships & Events Officer, Hollie, was delighted to be presented with the donation last week and to personally thank Sally and the team for their kindness and generosity.
It is always wonderful to see local businesses investing back into their community. Donations like this help us continue supporting over 700 children, young people and adults with disabilities and their families across Portsmouth and South-East Hampshire.
A heartfelt thank you to Sally and everyone at Southern Co-op Funeralcare, Tangier Road, for your community spirit and continued support – it truly makes a difference.
