Ten young people attending an Enable Ability session visited Game Over for a two hour retro gaming experience.
During the session, food was arranged through Mamma Mia Pizzeria, with pizzas kindly provided complementary by the restaurant. This support helped to ensure the session could run smoothly, with some hungry teenagers extremely satisfied by the large pizzas, while the donated pizza also contributed towards the charity’s wider programme of activities for young people.
The Portsmouth Teenage Project delivers weekly after-school sessions during term time, supported by staff and volunteers, with a focus on providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone who attends. Any similar contributions linked to the sessions help the charity to continue offering accessible opportunities for young people to take part each week, making it both affordable for families but also ensuring the charity keeps the support ratio as high as possible, with staff and volunteers trained appropriately.
The pizzas were supplied by the owner of the restaurant, the lovely Bruno. Mamma Mia Pizzeria offers authentic Italian pizza and traditional Brazilian food from its central Osborne Road location.
Enable Ability would like to take this opportunity to thank Mamma Mia Pizzeria for their support, our staff are looking forward to enjoying a lunch break at the restaurant very soon.
