Our newly-formed ‘Co-production & Social Group’ have been really busy since first forming in October 2024. The group have been busy attending lots of events but most importantly, forming new positive friendships that will hopefully last forever and continue to grow, consequently building confidence, self-esteem, mental well-being and independence.
Continuing the fantastic work Dynamite had already started, Enable Ability fully intends on building on the younger group’s existing partnerships established within the city with community-focused organisations, one of the best partnerships formed is with the Mary Rose Museum!
Enable Ability were lucky enough to be invited to the museum’s showcase event, Anchored in the Community. This was a fantastic evening full of entertainment, inspiring speeches, museum tours and complimentary food and drink; our group particularly enjoyed the dancing workshop led by Funk Format.
But what came next was truly amazing, we literally bumped into the CEO of Portsmouth Football Club, the legend Andrew Cullen!! We couldn’t believe our luck, Andrew was so nice and we had a photo taken with him!
A huge thank you to everyone from the Mary Rose for organising such an incredible evening which we won’t forget in a hurry, Enable Ability will definately look forward to building on this amazing partnership formed with the museum.
