Celebrating Anglo Bangla’s Big Milestone on Tangier Road

Yesterday saw a fantastic occasion for our friends at Anglo Bangla on Tangier Road, who have supported Enable Ability with their fundraising efforts over the past few years.

To mark their five-year anniversary, they closed their doors the day before to prepare something truly special and welcomed the community back into their venue in style. Our Project Leader, better known locally as the Portsmouth Foodguide, joined the celebrations to talk with the team about their journey and to share their story on the food guide social media platforms. Other guests included members of the local community, representatives from charities and councillors; all coming together to recognise the dedication and hard work that has gone into building such a valued business.

Otherwise known as King Kebab, they were giving away 50 smash burgers, this gave our Project Leader, James, a chance not just to enjoy the delicious food, which certainly got the food guide’s seal of approval, but also to show appreciation for all that Anglo Bangla have given back through their support of Enable Ability.

Next time you’re in the area, please do stop by to congratulate them and sample their menu. Supporting those who support our charity helps to keep our work going strong, plus we couldn’t think of a tastier way to say thank you!
