Christmas Fair Success – Thank You!

Despite the rainy weather, our Christmas Fair on Sunday was a huge success – and we’re delighted to share that we raised £1,070 for Enable Ability!

A massive thank you to everyone who braved the drizzle and joined us for a truly magical day. We were thrilled to welcome Em’s Friendly Farm, where Nelly the 7-month-old donkey and her adorable friends stole everyone’s hearts. Santa was busy in his Grotto, and even Darth Vader dropped by to spread some… festive force!

Our stalls were buzzing with an amazing variety of gifts, treats, and activities – there really was something for everyone. The toy tombola nearly sold out (huge well done to the UOP Athletics team for running it so brilliantly!).

A special thank you to Alison and Alan for filling the room with music and cheer; to the number of University of Portsmouth volunteers for helping set up and run stalls; and to all our wonderful volunteers – including Ada (and Mum!) – as well as our incredible staff who gave up their time on the day.

We also want to express our appreciation to all the donors and sponsors who supported us with prizes, supplies, and festive extras that made the day shine.

And finally, a big shoutout to Katherine, who cleaned, dried, and ran the teddy tombola with her son and daughter-in-law, James and Jennifer – thank you again for going above and beyond!

Your support means the world and helps us continue providing life-changing services to children, young people, and adults with disabilities across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.

Thank you for making this year’s Christmas Fair unforgettable. Here’s to even more festive fun next year!
