Enable Ability continues to grow stronger!

Today we welcome our new Deputy Project Leader for two of our Projects; Hampshire Youth and Portsmouth Teenage. We are so pleased to have joining us Lauren Barnard.

Lauren originally joined Enable Ability as a Befriender in May 2021. Since then, she has quickly worked her way up to becoming Deputy Project Leader, as well as still working as a Befriender with the charity. Lauren absolutely loves working with the young people and having fun which is what it’s all about!

Lauren joins us as a mum of three children aged between 3-12 years old. She has worked as a Professional Singer for the last 17 years. During her time as a singer, she has worked with children as a Vocal Tutor for a rock music school and also put on her own children’s entertainment events. She also runs her own business in what spare time she has!

She gets to attend lots of fun events and meets lots of amazing people during her time as a singer, she feels the same about working with Enable Ability on the activities and school holiday schemes.

Lauren’s hobbies are singing (of course), watching Netflix, going to gigs, eating out and the cinema.

Lauren is very passionate about working with young people and providing fun lifelong memories for everyone.

She looks forward to meeting any new young people joining us on our adventures!
