Enable Ability Completes Cranfield Trust’s ‘Journey to Excellence’ Consultancy Project!
We are thrilled to announce that Enable Ability has successfully completed a ‘Journey to Excellence’ consultancy project with the Cranfield Trust– a renowned organisation that provides pro bono management support and free resources to charities.
Over the past year, we have had the privilege of working closely with the Cranfield Trust, benefitting from their expert guidance and strategic insight. As a charity that has been supporting organisations for over 35 years, the Trust had its busiest year in 2023, launching 527 new consultancy projects and mentoring assignments, including ours!

Through this partnership, we focused on strengthening our Inter Activ employability service, ensuring it has a solid foundation for future growth. It was critical for us to develop robust plans to take the service to the next stage, particularly in terms of financial sustainability. Our goal has been to bring our workstreams together, expand them, and enhance their impact.
We were incredibly fortunate to be supported by Robert, an experienced consultant, whose expertise and guidance have been invaluable. With his support, we have:
✔ Developed a brand-new workstream to enhance our employability offering
✔ Explored innovative ways to establish a Tech Hub- a dedicated space for our IT-based workstreams, as our current facilities at Landport Community Centre are no longer sufficient to meet demand
As a recognition of our hard work and commitment to continuous improvement, we are proud to have received a Cranfield Trust badge (above) – a visual symbol of our dedication to growing and strengthening our services. This badge reflects the progress we have made and our ongoing drive to develop opportunities for the young people and adults we support.
This consultancy project has been a transformational experience, and we are deeply grateful to the Cranfield Trust and Robert for their unwavering support.
