Christmas Fair success

Santa sat on a seat with Christmas trees and lights around

On Sunday December 4th, Enable Ability held their annual Christmas Fair at Landport Community Centre.

Welcoming guests from the local Portsmouth community, the event was well attended and brought lots of festive cheer! From tombola’s to hook-a-duck, and stallholders’ to the grand raffle, there was something for everyone.

Santa’s Grotto was a sell-out this year, and children and adults alike enjoyed the animals from Em’s Friendly Farm- Merrylegs the pony was our firm favourite! Both of these were sponsored by Southern Co-operative, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support. Guests were also honoured with the presence of fire fighting heroes from our local Southsea Fire Station, who invited excited children/young people into the engine to take a look, and generously gave away Cadbury advent Calendars!

Even though we are still in quite difficult times, with the addition of extra charity stalls the event managed to raise £1554.83! A big thank you to everyone who came along, including our stallholders, to make the event such a success!

We have so many individuals and businesses to thank for supporting our Christmas Fair with their time, resources and donations. We are humbled by your generosity:

We hope you all have a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful 2023! See you next year!
